MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – Pope Francis has appointed Ante Jozic Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus, The Vatican informs.
Croatian bishop, archbishop Ante Jozic will replace head of the diplomatic representation of the Holy See in Belarus Gabor Pinter who has been appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Honduras.
Ante Jozic was born in Trilj, Croatia on 16 January 1967. He previously worked at the apostolic nunciatures in India, Russia, the Philippines and the Ivory Coast.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Vatican were established on 11 November 1992.
