NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – The Polish Defense Ministry indulges in making fake news and manipulating facts, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the source, over the last week the Polish Defense Ministry used its X account (formerly Twitter) to post videos, which are two years old, accompanied by comments about hybrid attacks by refugees and provocations by the Belarusian military. The reused videos are touted as up-to-date footage, which allegedly describes the current situation at the Belarusian-Polish border.
The State Border Committee of Belarus noted that it is easy to determine the leaks are fake by browsing official posts of the Polish border service. This account posted the same videos on 13 November 2021.
The State Border Committee of Belarus said: “Taking into account repeated publications of blatant fakes and a large number of messages without corroborating photos or videos, one starts to wonder whether the information released by official communication channels of Polish defense, security, and law enforcement agencies can be trusted at all. And who do the Polish military think their followers are?”
