PM: Belarus is ready to be a reliable partner for Eswatini

MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to be a reliable partner for the Kingdom of Eswatini, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Dlamini in Minsk on 20 June, BelTA has learned.

Roman Golovchenko stated that very little time had passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. “Today we are already receiving your first visit and holding the first intergovernmental talks at the level of prime ministers of the two countries. I am confident that today's meeting will be a good start to a long and productive cooperation between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Belarus,” the Belarusian head of government said.

According to him, for many years Belarus has been building friendly relations with the countries of the African continent based on mutual respect, friendship and openness. “Belarusian delegations, the president of our country, government and parliamentary delegations have been visiting the African continent especially often in recent years,” Roman Golovchenko said. “We are coming to Africa with technologies and knowledge. We are sharing our best practices with people, training specialists. I would like to emphasize that the Republic of Belarus is a reliable and proven partner for many African states. We hope that this visit will put the Kingdom of Eswatini among them.”
