Plenipotentiary representatives to discuss operation of CIS Anti-Terrorism Center on 23 November

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – A regular session of the council of plenipotentiary representatives of the CIS member states to CIS charter bodies and other bodies will take place in Minsk on 23 November, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee told BelTA.

Participants of the session will sum up results of the online session of the CIS Heads of Government Council, which took place on 12 November. They will sketch out tasks concerning the realization of the adopted documents and the agreements that have been reached.

They will also discuss matters concerning efforts of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center to coordinate the interaction of national security agencies and intelligence agencies in the course of suppressing the propaganda of terrorist ideology, material, technical, and financial support for militants. The operation of the joint commission of the CIS states parties to the CIS agreement on fighting illegal migration will also be discussed.

Apart from that, progress in realizing the action plan on celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be reviewed.
