Petrishenko to attend EEC Council meeting on 22 February

MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – Deputy Premier Igor Petrishenko will lead Belarus' delegation at a regular session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) that will take place in Moscow on 22 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.

Top on the agenda will be technical and customs regulations, veterinary and phytosanitary control and foreign trade policy. The parties will also discuss project activities in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and mechanisms to implement promising integration projects.

The vice premiers of the EAEU member states will review progress in trade talks with Serbia and Singapore and discuss draft agreements on the order and terms of removing technical barriers in mutual trade with third countries and the agreements on exchanging information about goods and vehicles used in international road haulage in the territory of the EAEU and China, as well as customs support for transit procedures.

Members of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will revise the import duty on individual types of graphite electrodes and polypropylene threads to produce carpets.
