NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MOSCOW, 16 May (BelTA) - Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko held a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Chairman of the CSTO PA Vyacheslav Volodin, BelTA learned from the press service of the lower house of the Russian Parliament, BelTA has learned.
According to the State Duma press service, Vladimir Andreichenko and Vyacheslav Volodin discussed the preparations for the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council events that start in Minsk on 17 May, including the issues related to the harmonization of the legislation of the CSTO member states and the preparation of model laws to counter challenges and threats to security in the CSTO's area of responsibility.
Belarus is holding the presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization in 2023.
