Over 600 semi-trucks queuing to leave Belarus for Lithuania

MINSK, 4 January (BelTA) – The number of semi-trucks standing in line to cross the Belarusian-Lithuanian border is rising. Over 600 vehicles wait for their turn to leave Belarus for Lithuania now, representatives of the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The queue in front of the border checkpoint Privalka has been getting longer since 16:00 due to heavy traffic. As of 18:00 there were over 300 vehicles in the queue. There were over 200 semi-trucks at the border checkpoint Kamenny Log and over 110 semi-trucks at the border checkpoint Benyakoni.

“We would like travelers to keep this information in mind while making plans to cross the Belarusian-Lithuanian border and choose border checkpoints with less traffic,” said the source.
