Over 140 Jordanians to study at Belarus' University of Civil Protection

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Over 140 specialists from Jordan will undergo training at the University of Civil Protection of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus, BelTA learned from the university.

On 25 March the university welcomed a delegation of the General Directorate of Civil Defense of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The delegation studied training processes and physical infrastructure of the Belarusian university.

Head of the University of Civil Protection Ivan Polevoda met with the Director of the Studies, Research and Development Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense of Jordan. “In line with the agreement signed during the meeting, 144 specialists from Jordan will receive training at the University of Civil Protection,” the university informed.

The specialists will study the courses “Managing rescue and fire fighting operations in emergency situations” and “Rescue, fire fighting and first aid (for instructors)”.
