Other countries blamed for truck queues at Belarusian border

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – Since 14 March Poland has been clearing up to 45% of the number of semi-trailer trucks it is supposed to clear daily, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

On 22-23 March Poland allowed 38% of the standard number of trucks to enter the country. The longest truck queues can be found in the direction of the border checkpoint Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side).

Meanwhile, Lithuanian border checkpoints cleared 78% of the number of semi-trucks they are supposed to clear. The longest queues can be found near the border checkpoint Salcininkai (Benyakoni on the Belarusian side).

Meanwhile, as little as 88% of the normal number of trucks entered Latvia's territory. As of 10:00 the longest queues could be found near the border checkpoint Silene (Urbany on the Belarusian side).
