One Belarusian dead in Moscow elevator fall

MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – One citizen of Belarus died in an elevator accident at a construction site in Moscow, Maria Vanshina, deputy spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told BelTA.

“We can confirm that one Belarus citizen was killed in an accident at a construction site in Moscow,” Maria Vanshina said.

The Consular Affairs Department of the Embassy of Belarus in Moscow is taking care of all relevant issues.

A freight elevator with five workers inside crashed to the ground at a construction site in Shenogina Street, Moscow on 23 September. Three of the victims died immediately, while the other two died on the way to the hospital.
