MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – The official mascot of the 2019 European Games will be announced in a movie theater in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Directorate of the Second European Games 2019.
“Teaser ads of the European Games will be demonstrated at all Silver Screen movie theaters ahead of screenings as from 15 November. According to a recently signed cooperation agreement, Silver Screen shall sell branded souvenirs and exclusively present some of them solely in these movie theaters,” the press service said.
Within the framework of cooperation, a Silver Screen cinema is to host an official presentation of the winner of the open contest to develop a mascot for the 2019 European Games. The application deadline is 15 November.
The directorate underlined that this cooperation is viewed as a strategic step to demonstrate the partners' all-round engagement in the largest sports event in Belarus' history.
