MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – The New Year charity campaign Our Children will start in Belarus on 11 December 2017, BelTA informs.
The Our Children campaign will run through 10 January 2018 to involve over 15,000 orphaned children, disabled children, and children whose parents were killed in the line of duty.
Charity New Year parties for children will traditionally take place in every region of the country with the participation of heads of government bodies and local executive authorities. The holidays will be arranged in every small and large populated locality of Belarus. The Palace of the Republic in Minsk will host a charity New Year party to bring together 2,370 children from across Belarus, and also from the Belarusian School in Riga and the Francysk Skaryna Gymnasium in Vilnius.
The organizers aspire to offer care and attention to every child. The campaign encompasses the whole society: ministries, departments, public associations, businessmen, and individuals. They help arrange New Year holidays and also make donations.
