MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Everything the president said during the Belarusian People's Assembly is aimed at serving the interests of Belarusian citizens, Mother Superior of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Stavropegic Convent in Grodno Gavriila, a delegate of the Belarusian People’s Congress, said on the air of the ONT TV channel.
“I listened carefully to our president's address. Yes, the address was about the economy, and that is very important. But, as it is said, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.' Everything the president said is aimed at serving the interested of citizens of the Republic of Belarus,” Mother Superior Gavriila said.
Mother Superior Gavriila recalled the first Belarusian People's Congress and drew a parallel with the present day. “Many years have passed. Life has changed very much, for the better. My viewpoint is subjective: I believe the president has not changed. Just as he was caring, loving, a workaholic, deeply involved in everything, responsive to all the demands of the people and the time. He still remains the same.”
