Minsk to host Days of Hungarian Culture in 2019

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The Days of Hungarian Culture will be held in the Upper Town area in Minsk in 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Belarus Zsolt Csutora told a press conference in the Minsk Town Hall on 13 December, BelTA has learned.

“My mission in Belarus started on 1 September 2018. A week later we talked with the Hungarian minister of culture and he promised support in the organization of the event. Now, these are state plans to organize the Days of Hungarian Culture in Minsk. I believe that we will be able to do well together with the Minsk City Hall,” the ambassador said.

Zsolt Csutora said that in his youth he did Hungarian folk dances for 12 years and even taught journalists one of them. Meanwhile, Minsk residents will appreciate the full magnificence and diversity of Hungarian dances in the Upper Town Concert Hall on 19 December, where, with the assistance of the ambassador and his spouse, the folk ensemble Duna Art will feature the Cifra Magyar (Bright Hungary) event. “Professional dancers and musicians will bring a great program,” the diplomat said.
