
MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) - The Congress of Young Scientists of Belarus and Russia will be held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from 27 March to 1 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB).
The congress is timed to coincide with the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. "The program includes a plenary session, which will hear reports on priority areas of development of international cooperation in science and technology between young scientists of the two countries, and a series of breakout sessions," the press service said.
Participants of the congress will visit a number of research organizations of the Academy of Sciences. The Russian young scientists will also tour the historical and cultural heritage landmarks of Belarus.
The decision to hold the congress was made by the presidents of Belarus and Russia in December 2022.
