MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – The first congress of the Belarusian Society of Radiologists will take place in Minsk on 25-26 October, the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry told BelTA.
X-ray diagnostics specialists and specialists of allied trades will be informed about the latest accomplishments in radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound diagnostics, nuclear medicine, and radiation safety.
Belarusian and foreign speakers will deliver their reports. In particular, Irina Abelskaya, Doctor of Medicine, head of the Belarusian Society of Radiologists, Head Physician of the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate, will talk about a new age in the development of radiology in Belarus. Professor Nicholas Gourtsoyiannis, Director of the European School
of Radiology (Greece), will make a report on peculiarities of working in an interdisciplinary team. Specialists from Russia, Croatia, Austria, USA, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine, Italy, and France will also take part in the congress.
An atlas on ultrasound visualization in breast care will be presented during the forum.
The first congress of the Belarusian Society of Radiologists has been organized by the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry, the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate, the public association Belarusian Society of Radiologists.
