MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – International Yoga Day will be celebrated in Minsk Gorky Park on 22 June, BelTA learned from the Indian Embassy in Belarus.
The Indian Embassy in Minsk in cooperation with the Minsk City Hall will organize a yoga festival for Minsk citizens and guests for the fifth time. The organizers invite people to join the international celebration and make a step towards harmony and health. The event will last from 9:00 till 12:00, its program includes the Sun Salutation marathon, demonstration of yoga exercises, breathing and meditation techniques, yoga dance and children's yoga.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Sangeeta Bahadur and other officials will attend the event. Yoga techniques will be demonstrated by an Indian culture teacher at the Indian Embassy in Belarus and professional teachers from Minsk yoga schools.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats to this free program.
