MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – Air China Limited, one of China's largest air carriers, has named Minsk National Airport the best operator in terms of aircraft ground handling in Europe in 2018, BelTA learned from the press service of the airport.
Air China took into account such criteria as timing of services, safety guarantees, percentage of mistakes with luggage handling, and customer reviews. After assessing all participants, Air China named Minsk National Airport the best airport in Europe in terms of aircraft ground handling.
“We are grateful to Air China for high assessment of our work. Quality aircraft ground handling is possible thanks to coordinated work of our staff and the airport services at any time and in any season. We are happy to cooperate with Air China, because strong partner relations are a good basis for joint projects and common goals,” Deputy Director General of Minsk National Airport Vasily Kornev said.
The first regular flight of Air China from Beijing landed in Minsk National Airport on 1 May 2015. Since then, Air China has operated the flight Beijing-Minsk-Budapest-Beijing. Minsk welcomes four flights from Beijing a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flight uses Airbus A330-200 seating 237 people.
