NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – An event dedicated to the 2nd European Games due in Minsk on 21-30 June took place in Madrid on 13 June, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Spain.
Ambassador of Belarus to Spain Pavel Pustovoi stressed the importance of holding such a large-scale sports event in Minsk and expressed confidence that the games will draw attention to Belarus from sport fans and tourists.
In turn, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee Alejandro Blanco said that Belarus has prepared well for the games. He wished athletes success and spectators the best emotions from the games.
Guests of the event got familiar with Belarus tourism industry. The organizers of the event pointed out that Belarus allows visa-free entry which also applies to guests of the European Games.
The presentation was organized by the Belarusian Embassy in Spain and the Spanish Olympic Committee. Taking part in the event were representatives of the diplomatic corps, sport organizations, and media, Spanish and Belarusian public figures.
