MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Minsk Card. Cities&Regions of Belarus will be available in Belarusian regions, Mingorspravka Director Boris Vasiliev said at a session of the interdisciplinary tourism council under the Council of Ministers on 17 April, BelTA has learned.
The project features over 500 facilities all over Belarus. Several types and formats of such tourist passes are available. A special tourist card has been developed for the 2nd European Games.
The tourist project “Minsk Card. Cities&Regions of Belarus” is run by Mingorspravka with support of the Sports and Tourism Ministry, Culture Ministry, Minsk City Hall, Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, Minsk Information and Tourism Center. The project is part of the tourism promotion program for 2016-2020.
The card offers bonuses and discounts at museums, galleries, zoos, water parks, hotels, restaurants, cafes, shopping facilities, car and bicycle rental centers.
At first the project featured 74 facilities in Minsk and Minsk Oblast. However, over the past year their number has grown considerably. These tourist cards can be purchased online and offline.
