MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – A session of the Belarusian-Lithuanian working group on developing border checkpoints took place at premises of the State Customs Committee of Belarus, the committee's press service told BelTA.

In particular, the sides discussed changing the status of individual small border traffic checkpoints to the international one and removing some border checkpoints in view of the need to increase the border's throughput capacity. The sides came to an agreement on switching the status of some border checkpoints to the international one.
