NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – The Union State of Belarus and Russia is an example of close integration cooperation, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev told journalists, BelTA has learned.
“I never get tired of saying that the Union State is an example of close integration cooperation,” Sergei Lebedev said.
According to him, all the best practices of the Union State are scaled up at the platforms of the CIS and the EAEU. “We take the best practices from here, and there are many of them. Close cooperation, close ties in many areas. And we are trying to scale up our best practices at a broader platform. At the same time, I want to say that we maintain close contacts between the CIS Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Union State, and we also closely cooperate with our colleagues in the EAEU and help each other. And as the chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, I am glad that many developments in the CIS are also transferred to the platform of other integration associations,” Sergei Lebedev noted.
The most striking indicator of closer cooperation between the CIS countries is the intensification of contacts at the highest level between the heads of state.
