Kupala theater launches Non-Theater Mask social project

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – The Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater has started making protective face masks as part of its Non-Theater Mask social project, BelTA learned from the theater.

“The theater's sewing workshop has already made 500 protective face masks. The theater plans to make more and donate them to Minsk Hospital No.10,” representatives of the theater said.

The project is supported by the theater's extrabudgetary funds and sponsors. "The Kupala Theater will be grateful to legal entities, all theater goers for financial support in purchasing materials necessary for sewing protective masks,” the theater said. It is possible to support the project by transferring any amount of money to the bank account of the Yanka Kupala Theater.

Theaters from different countries who decided to support medical institutions became an example for Kupala Theater. Kupala Theater invites other Belarusian theaters to join the project.
