VITEBSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Representatives of education institutions of China's Jinagxi Province are set to visit Masherov Vitebsk State University on 12 December to sign more than 20 cooperation agreements with the universities of Vitebsk Oblast, BelTA learned from the university.
The event will feature presentations of the universities of Vitebsk Oblast and Jiangxi Province, exhibitions of educational institutions of the Chinese province. The signing of the documents will be followed by talks and establishment of contacts for new projects. Taking part in the meeting will be representatives of Masherov Vitebsk State University, Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Vitebsk State Technological University, Gannan Medical University, International Exchange College of Nanchang University, and Jiangxi Ceramics and Art Institute.
The universities of Vitebsk Oblast cooperate with education establishments of dozens of countries. Among them is Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, China, Latvia, Lithuania, the United States, France, and Slovakia. The universities of the region together with foreign educational institutions develop academic mobility, implement scientific projects, hold student training and on-the-job training for the academic staff, take part in the work of international organizations.
