Japanese organist Hiroko Inoue to perform in Minsk on 29 January

MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – Japanese musician Hiroko Inoue will perform on stage of the Big Concert Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on 29 January, BelTA learned from the information and public relations department of the philharmonic society.

The concert is part of the project “Masterpieces of World Organ Art” that has been running by the philharmonic society for quite a long time. Hiroko Inoue will perform in Belarus for the third time already. Her previous two concerts were highly acclaimed by lovers of classical organ music. She will play music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Joan Baptiste Josep Cabanilles, Antonio Vivaldi, Felix Mendelssohn, Cesar Franck, Charles-Camille Saint-Saens, Modest Mussorgsky and Gabriel Faure.

Hiroko Inoue is a holder of first prizes of Japanese piano competitions in Sakai and a prize-winner of the 3rd International Maria Yudina Piano Competition (St Petersburg, 2003). She prepared several fundamental programs for solo organ, among them monograph concerts by Johann Sebastian Bach and French organ music. She cooperates with orchestras from various cities of Russia.
