MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – As part of the ongoing combat shakedown of the Belarus-Russia regional military force an inspection of the combat readiness of Belarusian army units continued on 25 January upon instructions of the head of state, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The inspection is comprehensive and will allow assessing the ability of commanding officers to manage their subordinate army units in various situations and their readiness to carry out assigned missions within specified time limits.
The State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus has been put in charge of overseeing the ongoing events.
