
MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – About 23,000 foreigners have entered Belarus as part of the visa-free travel program since the beginning of the year, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the Belarusian border service, since 1 January 2023 Belarus has welcomed 16,738 citizens of Lithuania, 3,083 citizens and 807 non-citizens of Latvia, and 2,090 citizens of Poland.
A total of 421,283 residents of neighboring European Union countries have entered Belarus since the visa waiver was introduced, including 274,967 citizens of Lithuania, 28,148 non-citizens and 93,039 citizens of Latvia, and 25,129 citizens of Poland.
