MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – Fireworks have been launched into the sky above Minsk in honor of Independence Day, BelTA has learned.
The fireworks installations were traditionally placed in six locations. The first one was behind the Minsk – Hero City stele. The second one and third one were located near the villages of Novinki and Zatsen. The fourth one was positioned in the former airport inside the city, the fifth one in a waste lot of the Chizhovka cemetery, and the sixth one in the military camp in Uruchye.
Holiday salutes were also arranged in all the oblast capitals.
