MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Vladimir Ignatik, head for social security and ideology at the Minsk Military Commissariat, told BelTA how the work of the CSTO will change in 2023 when Belarus will preside over the organization.
“As the head of state noted, during the chairmanship of our country in the CSTO, the organization will be focused on training joint groups of forces, including on the territory of our state, as well as on building a positive image of the organization itself. The events that took place in Kazakhstan at the beginning of the year suggest that thanks to the joint grouping, the government was able to eliminate the riots. Therefore, the CSTO is a really important organization,” Vladimir Ignatik is convinced.
