NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – A delegation of the Election Commission of Leningrad Oblast, Russia has arrived in Minsk, representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus told BelTA.
On 26 January the delegation will meet with top officials of Belarus' CEC and will take part in a roundtable session, which participants will share experience of organization of election campaigns and will discuss problems and ways to resolve them in practice.
The delegation's stay in Minsk coincides with an anniversary of Leningrad's liberation from Nazi siege during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Top officials of Belarus' CEC and the Leningrad Oblast Election Commission will lay flowers at the Victory monument, will meet with veterans, members of the public association Belarusian Union of Leningrad Siege Survivors, with young Belarusians.
