EAEU digital projects to be showcased at forum in Minsk

MOSCOW, 5 April (BelTA) - Digital projects implemented in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be displayed at the 5th Eurasian Digital Forum EADF 2023. The event will be held in Minsk on 18-21 April as part of the 29th edition of the International ICT forum TIBO 2023 with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), BelTA learned from the EEC press service.

“The EADF Eurasian Digital Forum has by right became the central international event on the sidelines of TIBO. The forum participants have an opportunity to present corporate and national stands displaying digitalization projects implemented with their participation, their own innovative developments and IT solutions for digital transformation,” EEC Board Member (Minister) in charge of Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies in the EEC Varos Simonyan said.

The EADF 2023 forum is designed to promote the gradual formation of a single Eurasian digital market space, and the harmonization of national strategies for digital transformation of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. “The EADF 2023 forum is set to provide an opportunity to discuss international experience of integration and harmonization of digital markets, sectoral aspects of digital transformation of internal EAEU markets, issues of digital sovereignty in conditions of cross-border data turnover and other topics,” the press service said.

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich, SCO Deputy Secretary General Grigory Logvinov, representatives of international organizations, business, scientific communities and opinion leaders are expected to take part in the plenary session “Digital Eurasia, Points of Growth for Electronic Interaction and Integration”.
