MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) - Servicemen of the Armed Forces continue to clear the aftermath of the strong cyclone Ulli, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
As of 8.00 a.m., 2,943 servicemen were involved in the storm relief efforts. More than 60 units of military and special-purpose equipment were deployed in the most affected areas.
“The servicemen will continue to assist for as long as necessary. That is the task set by the defense minister,” the Defense Ministry added.
