NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – The air forces of Belarus and Russia are capable of fighting at all altitudes and speeds, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Belarus Andrei Lukyanovich said, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
Andrei Lukyanovich is in charge of Belarus- Russia air force drills. He noted: “Today we have used attack aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft, fighter-bombers, special aircraft, as well as military helicopters. This part of the flight exercise showed that we are able to fight at all altitudes and speeds.”
He drew attention to the fact that the main assessment criterion of the drills is the quality of the task performance. The focus is on personnel training and on the use of weapons.
According to Andrei Lukyanovich, the air force drills were organized jointly with military personnel from the Russian Federation. The work is thoroughly analyzed, the necessary organizational changes are made. According to Andrei Lukyanovich, the air forces have already shown a high level of performance.
