CSTO military drills to be discussed in Brest on 6-8 June

MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – On 6-8 June Brest will host the second staff officers' talks to discuss plans to organize and hold exercises of the CSTO states, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

The parties will discuss the organization and conduct of the Interaction 2023 exercise of the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces and a number of other exercises, like the Search 2023 exercise of intelligence units, the Barrier 2023 special exercise of radiation, chemical and biological protection and medical support units and the Echelon 2023 exercise of logistics support forces.

Representatives of the armed forces of the CSTO member states, the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat will take part in the talks. They will discuss ideas for the exercises, as well as the scheme and succession of actions at the exercises.

The heads of the delegations will sign the corresponding protocol based on the results of the talks.
