NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov will attend the opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the international arms and defense technology expo MILEX 2023 in Minsk on 17-20 May, CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov told BelTA.
"A number of CSTO events will be held as part of the MILEX 2023 business program. A joint meeting of the national parts of the CSTO Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation and the Business Council at the CSTO Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation will be held on 18 May. The coordinating council of the authorized bodies of the CSTO member states on advertising and exhibition activities is to meet on 19 May," the spokesman said.
These events are set to discuss topical issues of the development of military-economic and military-technical cooperation, ways of strengthening ties between enterprises and organizations of the military-industrial complexes of the CSTO member states and stepping up cooperation in advertising and exhibition activities in the CSTO.
"Representatives of the CSTO member states will take part in the international conference to discuss defense technology and the use of dual-use technologies (MILEX. INNOVATIONS'23) and other events of the business program of the exhibition," the spokesman added.
