MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – The Investigation Office of the State Security Committee of Belarus (KGB) has forwarded the criminal case against top managers of OAO Belgazprombank to the Office of the Prosecutor General, KGB representatives told BelTA.
According to the source, the accused and their lawyers have been made familiar with files of the criminal investigation. None of them except for Viktor Babariko have filed a motion to terminate criminal prosecution in accordance with grounds specified by the Criminal Code or arrange additional investigative actions.
The pretrial restraint measures remain unchanged: seven people remain in detention, including Viktor Babariko, while one person is under house arrest.
