MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin met with members of the teams that will represent Belarus during the International Army Games the other day, in particular, the contests Tank Biathlon, Suvorov Attack, and Clear Sky, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
All the three teams are getting ready for the games in the army training area Domanovo. The routes and obstacles participants of the games will have to tackle have been recreated there. The defense minister talked to the teams. He expressed confidence the Belarusian military will do well during the International Army Games.
Major-General Viktor Khrenin stressed: “The best personnel have been selected via contests in their military units and commands. The improvement of overall training standards is as important as prizes for us. The training level of the entire army is judged by seeing the results the Belarusian military specialists demonstrate during International Army Games. It is the image of our army and we will fight for it.”
The sixth International Army Games will take place on 23 August – 5 September 2020. Thirty-one international contests will take place, including in Belarus.
