CIS plenipotentiaries to review preparations for CIS summit

MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) - The CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives will convene for a meeting in Minsk on 26 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The permanent representatives are set to hear out a report on the performance of the Interstate Council on Combating Corruption, to discuss the results of the meetings of the CIS Ministerial Council and the CIS Council of Heads of State which took place on 14-15 October and to outline the tasks to execute the documents adopted at the meetings and the agreements reached.

The permanent plenipotentiaries will also consider preparations for the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government, which is due in Bishkek on 12 November.

In addition, the meeting will review the progress in the 2021-2022 action plan to implement the memorandum to advance the cooperation between the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission and the action program to intensify partnership between the foreign ministries of the CIS countries in 2021.
