
MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) - The CIS advisory committee on disarmament matters held a regular meeting in Moscow, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and the CIS Executive Committee.
The parties had a thorough exchange of views on the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery. The CIS member states reaffirmed their commitment to keep working within the framework of the CIS advisory committee on disarmament matters with an aim to coordinate their actions and consolidate positions to ensure lasting peace and strengthen international security.
