MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – The refugee shelter at the Bruzgi logistics hub near Grodno stopped working. All the foreigners who were temporarily placed there left the shelter, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
On 22 March, 98 refugees left Minsk for Erbil. The evacuation flight was arranged by the International Organization for Migration. The rest of the foreigners were temporarily placed in hotels and sanatoriums. They will stay their until evacuation.
The refugees decided to return home after they realized that there is no point in waiting and that the EU countries do not care about their plight. This attitude of Europe towards people fleeing a war is an overt policy of differentiation based on ethnicity.
