MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – An agreement to expand cooperation and intensify the exchange of content was signed between China's Xinhua News Agency and the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA), BelTA informs.
The first cooperation agreement between BelTA and Xinhua was signed on 8 January 1993. It was re-signed on 1 June 2018.
The new agreement provides for the exchange of news items, photos and videos, as well as mutual support and promotion on the internet and social media.
BelTA and Xinhua agreed to exchange best practices and conduct skill enhancement courses for journalists, editors and technical staff.
The agreement came into force on the day of its signing by authorized representatives of both parties.
