BelAZ classroom opened in mining institute in Russian Krasnoyarsk

MOSCOW, 12 April (BelTA) – A specialized classroom fitted out by the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ has been opened in the Mining, Geology, and Geotechnologies Institute of the Siberian Federal University in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

The classroom has been opened within the framework of a trilateral cooperation agreement between the Belarusian company BelAZ, OOO Krasnoyarsk BelAZ Service, and the Siberian Federal University. Later on the classroom will get additional equipment, including mockups of parts and components of vehicles and machines used for mining operations. The classroom is expected to greatly improve the usage of BelAZ vehicles in the region in the long term. The ability to adjust the education process on the fly in view of the emergence of new BelAZ products on the market is another bonus.

The head of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Viktor Shchetko and Krasnoyarsk Territory Deputy Education Minister Maksim Rumyantsev took part in the classroom opening ceremony.
