Belavia to postpone launch of Minsk-Vienna flights

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – The national air carrier Belavia will postpone the launch of flights to Vienna from 29 March to 25 April, BelTA learned from the website of the company.

Austria's aviation administration did not grant Belavia a permission to operate regular flights on this route. Therefore, the Belarusian company cancels Minsk-Vienna-Minsk flights that were due to take place from 29 March to 24 April.

Passengers who bought flights for these dates will be able to get a full refund at the point of sale. Another option is to reschedule a flight one time till 30 June 2020.

Belavia plans to operate daily flights to Vienna International Airport with the departure at 8.50 (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) and at 14.25 (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). The return flight to Minsk International Airport will be at 10.45 (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) and at 16.10 (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays).
