Belavia announces reduced fares to new destinations

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia has announced reduced fares to new destinations, BelTA learned from the company.

Thus, on 15 November, the list of reduced fares expanded with flights to Kazan, Odessa, Brussels and Geneva.

“A one-way ticket will cost €10 plus taxes and charges. A return ticket will be €20 plus taxes and charges. Flights are operated from/to Minsk,” the airline posted on its Facebook page. Tickets will be available on 15 November from 9.00 to 23.59 Minsk time.

Tickets are all non-return and can be bought only through the company's website belavia.by.

Under the current 30-day visa-free rules Belavia introduced promotional offers on 2 November on most of its regular routes till the end of winter schedule. Initially, the list included the following destinations: Sochi, Amsterdam, Almaty, Barcelona, ​​Brussels, Berlin, Budapest, Yerevan, Batumi, Geneva, Hannover, Kharkov, Kaliningrad, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Larnaca, London, Lvov, Milan, Odessa, Paris, Prague, Rome, Rostov, Stockholm, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Belgrade, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Chisinau and Astana. The cost of tickets to some destinations was reduced by 75%.

Almost 90% of tickets to the most popular destinations were sold out in the first days of the sale. On the first day of the sale, tickets at reduced costs were most popular with passengers aged 25 to 34 years (55% of customers).

Taking into account the interest of clients in promo tickets, the airline decided to hold sales every second Thursday.

Belavia is Belarus' biggest air carrier. Based in Minsk National Airport, it offers regular flights to 51 destinations in 28 countries. The company operates a fleet of 29 aircraft (five Boeing 737-500 jets, six Boeing 737-500 jets, seven Boeing 737-300 jets, three Embraer 175 aircraft, four Embraers 195 and four CRJ-100/-200 jets).
