Belarusian teams heading for to Army Games 2019

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – A ceremony to see off the Belarusian military teams for the 5th Army International Games was held at the Uruchie Sports Palace in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Belarus' Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov addressed the teams. He wished them fair and uncompromising fight for medals, good results and victories. “I am sure with the the level of your training and skills you will show good results. The goal is simple: to win. You have gone done your done training. The whole country will be watching you,” the defense minister said.

The minister handed the national flag to the head of the Belarusian delegation – chief of combat training of the Armed Forces Major-General Andrei Nekrashevich.

Army Games 2019 will be held from 3 to 17 August on the territory of 10 states: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Russia and Uzbekistan. The program includes 32 competitions. Belarusian military men will take part in 18 events, including Sniper Frontier, Warrior of the Commonwealth, Tank Biathlon.
