MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – Belarusian and Russian flight crews are practicing suppressing air defenses in the military training area Ruzhansky, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
As part of the ongoing Belarusian-Russian air force exercise aerial units from all airfields of the Air Force and Air Defense Command continue carrying out assigned missions. The flight crews are practicing the suppression of air defenses, destruction of command posts, hardware and personnel of the simulated enemy in the military training area Ruzhansky.
Apart from that, fighter aircraft provide aerial cover to strike groups of ground-attack aircraft and bomber aircraft.
