MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – An observation mission of Belarus and Russia will take to the skies over Poland on 25-29 March, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Observation flights in the period have been scheduled in line with the Open Skies Treaty. The Belarusian-Russian observation mission will fly over Poland using a Russian aircraft An-30B. Keeping an eye on military activities in the country under observation is the idea.

Meanwhile, a Slovak-Polish joint observation mission will carry out a flight above Belarus and Russia using a Ukrainian observation aircraft An-30B. Control over military activities is the purpose of this flight, too.
