
MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – A team of Belarusian rescuers arrived in the Turkish city of Gaziantep, BelTA learned from the press service of the Emergencies Ministry.
The team will head to the city of Kahramanmaras, 59km away from the epicenter of the earthquake.
The rescuers plan to begin search and rescue operations today, after conducting a reconnaissance of the area and assessing the situation.
The information on the work of the Belarusian rescue team will be regularly updated on the website of the Emergencies Ministry, its Telegram channel and Facebook account.
