MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – A composite company of the Belarusian army has left for the Mulino exercise area in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
Mechanized infantry units and tanks will participate in a Belarusian-Russian tactical army exercise over there. The composite company includes military personnel of the 6th, 19th, and 120th independent guards mechanized brigades.
The theme and tasks of the exercise have been determined taking into account the experience of modern wars and local conflicts. The military personnel will practice fighting flying drones of the simulated enemy.
The tactical exercise is part of preparations for the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2021.
