
MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – In the run-up to the 80th anniversary of the tragedy in Khatyn, Belarusian diplomats pay tribute to the memory of the victims of Nazism on the Belarusian land, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Belarus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with all Belarusian foreign missions is running the campaign "The Candle of Memory". The Belarusian diplomatic missions made relevant entries on their social media accounts.
“Today, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the horrific tragedy of #Khatyn, Belarusian diplomats pay tribute to the memory of all those killed and tortured, burned alive and shot dead during the Great Patriotic War. #WeRemember and urge everyone to remember too,” the ministry said on its Twitter account.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign missions changed their social media profile pictures for the photo of The Unconquered Man monument.

"It is our duty to make sure the feat and tragedy of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War are remembered," the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.
